What You'll Do:

As the Office Manager, you will manage and support the company operations and day-to-day administration to assist the business in meeting and exceeding their business goals. 

Your Accountabilities in the Role:

  • Supports company operations by managing day-to-day office processes and systems.
  • Creates and maintains office procedures, processes, and filing systems to control the integrity and efficiencies of our systems.
  • Handles and coordinates the Supply Chain Management for the operations, ensuring accurate inventory, purchasing, delivery, and invoicing to meet client, business, and budgeting needs.
  • Prepares documents, proposals and quotation submissions for institutional and governmental entities, ensuring these are completed accurately, within guidelines, and due dates.
  • Manages and maintains office efficiencies by allocating duties (where applicable), evaluating office processes, systems, and room layouts.
  • Maintains office appearance and logbook as well as welcoming and directing visitors.
  • Performs specialized activities, reporting, and analysis keeping management informed of any concerns, trends, suggestions, and results.

Position Requirements:

  • Education: Associates degree in Business Administration or related field preferred; will consider a person with a High School Diploma or GED and relevant experience.
  • Experience: 3+ years of progressive office administration, supply chain, and/or related experience preferred. Experience with government or institutional bid preparation would be desirable.
  • Certification(s): n/a
  • Functional Skills: Strong skillset in planning, organizing, and executing day-to-day administrative activities that are in line with company practices/policies. Requires solid math and data analytic skills, with a strong attention to details. Able to set priorities and manage multiple tasks on an ongoing basis. Ability to manage processes and Supply Chain flows/budgets effectively. Fundamental knowledge of the documentation / bid preparation process for governmental or institutional entities would be preferred, but not required.
  • Technology Aptitude/Skills: Proficient with Office software, CRM database systems (such as MS dynamics or SFDC), and Microsoft Office products.
  • Language Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Leadership/Behaviors: Self-starter who can work independently and within a team well; natural ability to develop and enhance processes and create efficiencies on a day to day basis.
  • Culture Match Behaviors: Fast paced, detail-oriented, team based, customer and community focused.

Other Important Information:     

Pay/Salary:  Pay is commensurate with proven expertise.

 And, the compensation will grow as the team member grows!

Reports To:     CEO                                                                                                                                                                                                  

Core Hours:  8:00 am 6:00 pm (schedule can be slightly flexible; will work approx. 8-9 hours within this timeframe)

Typical Work Week:  M-F; weekends where required (expected to be very infrequently); 40-45hours a week on average

Direct Reports:  0-1

Travel:   Limited; 5 miles or less to local customer campuses, other items.
