What You'll Do:

 

As the Master Scheduler, you will plan, prioritize and create daily production schedules, ensuring production efficiency and alignment to customer and business expectations.

 

Your Accountabilities in the Role:

 

  • Creates daily production schedules that meet customer demand, operational capabilities, and business goals.
  • Reviews the forecasting for changes in demand and ensures material and operational capabilities are in place to meet future orders and due dates.
  • Escalates supply/demand constraints to balance the demand with product/people resources.
  • Partners with sales, engineering, operations, and shipping to ensure customer needs are met with every order.
  • Reviews and enhances processes and system functions to ensure optimization of processes.

 

 

 

 

Position Requirements:

  • Education: BS degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
  • Experience: 5+ years of Production Scheduling or related experience
  • Certifications: n/a
  • Functional Skills:  Excellent planning, prioritization, and execution skills required; excellent forward-thinking, problem-solving, follow-up, and good time management skills; excellent with math and analyzing large amounts of complex data
  • Technology Skills: Proficient with ERP systems and validation of changes, Microsoft Office, and other planning software.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present to others; will work with all levels both inside and outside the organization.
  • Leadership/ Behaviors: Strong customer-focus, with initiative, high energy, and an entrepreneurial spirit; requires a strong work ethic and a high value system; able to work independently; strong influencing and collaboration skills; conceptual ability to make enhancements to the processes; strong sense of urgency to get things done.

Pay/Salary:  Salary is commensurate with proven expertise. And, there is also Profit Sharing to reward a "job well done"!

 

And, the compensation will grow as the team member grows!

 

Reports To:     Director of Supply Chain                                                                                                                                                          

Core Hours:   6:00 am 3:00 pm; some flexibility in hours worked within this timeframe

Typical Work Week:  M-F; some Saturdays are required (when applicable);  typically, 40-45 hours a week on average
