What You'll Do:

As the Production Coordinator, you will coordinate activities and support the Operations through assisting in each area of the business, while managing special projects, to ensure the day to day customer and business goals are achieved. 

 

Your Accountabilities in the Role:

  • Supports the Operations through coordinating activities and assisting in Production, where needed, to ensure customer and business goals are achieved.
  • Handles testing and validation of product to ensure a high-quality product that is in line with customer specifications.
  • Handles Shipping and Receiving activities to ensure product is delivered on time.
  • Manages the Inventory of materials and products through cycle counting and validating system data.
  • Handles day to day administrative activities needed for the business to operate efficiently.
  • Manages special projects, as needed, to support the overall business.
  • Creates/modifies processes and procedures to ensure accurate processing in all areas of the organization.

 

Position Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience leading in a manufacturing environment; experience in an extrusion manufacturing environment would be a plus.
  • Functional Skills: Basic mechanical and business process skills preferred to understand and assist in the business and operational areas; solid math, attention to details, and analytical skills are also required.  Strong planning, prioritization, and execution skills to get things done; excellent with time management.  Must be comfortable with operating machinery and forklifts.
  • Certifications: n/a
  • Technology Aptitude/Other: Solid PC & Software skills
  • Language Skills: Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills needed.
  • Leadership/Behaviors: Critical problem-solving and critical thinking is essential in this role; High level of integrity, with high attention to quality is also key. Requires someone who is a self-starter and can see a need and get it solved.  Safety-minded and collaborative is also key to ensure smooth and accurate processes.
  • Culture of the area: Customer-focused, able to work well with teams and independently; flexible and high energy to move from area to area daily.  High sense of urgency to get things done to meet quick turnaround on product output.

 

Other Important Information:     

 

Pay/Salary:  Pay is commensurate with proven expertise.

And, the compensation will grow as the team member grows!

Core Hours:   8:00 am 5:00 pm; 1 Hour Lunch

Typical Work Week:  M-F; typically, 40 hours a week on average

Direct Reports:  Indirect team members being supported
