What You'll Do:

As the Human Resources Generalist, you will assist in managing and coordinating the administrative processes, policies, programs and reporting for Human Resources to ensure aligned business goals are achieved.

Your Accountabilities:

  • Manages the day-to-day administration of policies and employee relation activities for a positive employee relations atmosphere.
  • Maintains and updates the HR administrative process procedures to stay current and ensure overall compliance.
  • Facilitates the effective recruitment and subsequent onboarding of employees through comprehensive posting, screening, orientation, and coordination of ongoing performance management systems to develop, engage, and retain team members.
  • Manages the daily administration, communication, and systems for the benefit programs and re-enrollments following plan design and changes to maintain consistent and positive satisfaction for all team members.
  • Handles the HRIS and Payroll administration and related systems to ensure timely and accurate processes, in line with payroll practices and compliance factors.

Position Requirements:

  • Education: Associates Degree in Business, Organizational Leadership, or HR preferred; may consider an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Experience: 3+ years of progressive experience in an HR generalist role; will train the right person.
  • Certification(s): SHRM-CP or PHR preferred - or willing to obtain
  • Functional Skills: Excellent skills in researching, creating, and administering activities and programs; ability to find the facts and problem-solve; great with priorities and multi-tasking; highly organized with strong attention to details and can work with large amounts of data, along with solid follow-through to get things done well.
  • Technology Aptitude/Skills: Advanced ability with technology and systems; proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with payroll systems.
  • Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal skills; able to present to individuals and groups; will provide HR training to others in human resources policies/discipline areas.
  • Leadership/Behaviors: Organized and efficient; proactive approach to tasks; able to relate to people at all levels; reliable team member, high level of personal and professional integrity, polished demeanor, innovative mindset; able to consistently produce high-quality work and deliver exceptional service; able to be discrete with confidential information

Pay Programs: Pay is commensurate with proven expertise!

Reports To: Human Resources Manager

Core Hours: 7:00 am 5:00 pm

Typical Work Week: M-F; some weekends may be required; 45 hours a week on average.

Direct Reports: N/A; Works with other departments as needed.

Travel: No travel

Work Conditions: Office Environment; will wear protective equipment, as needed, when going into the Operations areas.
