What You'll Do:

As the Materials Analyst, you will review, identify problems, and implement solutions for product obstacles/opportunities within the Supply Chain for efficient and effective solutions.

Your Accountabilities in the Role:

  • Works with Operational Lines and vendors on product obstacles to identify solutions.
  • Analyzes the current processes, products and KanBan pull systems to suggest and implement enhancements to current processes.
  • Reviews poor quality material to determine a disposition based on the processes, along with similar situations and precedents.
  • Escalates complex product obstacles to buyers for best practice resolution.
  • Handles raw material change requests/rejects and coordinates KanBan and bin signals for accuracy.
  • Sets up new part numbers and descriptions in the system to be added to Bill of Materials by the Engineering team.

Position Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma/GED equivalency; or combination of education and experience required.
  • Experience: 2+ years of warehouse, inventory, and product quality disposition experience. KanBan experience would be a plus but not required.
  • Certification(s): N/A
  • Functional Skills: Solid math skills are required. Critical thinking/analytical abilities to review, research and solve issues independently or getting assistance on complex matters to ensure accuracy. Able to research/review large amounts of data; strong attention to details.
  • Problem-Solving: Will use specific guidelines and general objectives to research, problem-solve, and decide on a Plan of Action.
  • Accountability: Specific operational/conceptual integration of activities; patterned n nature.
  • Technology Aptitude/Skills: Solid ERP and/or data entry skills.
  • Language Skills: Solid verbal and written communication skills.
  • Leadership/Behaviors: Strong work ethic and values, dependable, focused on the customer, quality, and accuracy with the sense of urgency and flexibility to move to priorities throughout the operation areas, following all Safety requirements.

Other Important Information:

Pay/Salary: Pay is commensurate with proven expertise.

And, the compensation will grow as the team member grows!

Reports To: Materials Manger

Core Hours: 6:00 am 2:00 pm

Typical Work Week: M-F; some Saturdays are required (when applicable); typically, 40-45 hours a week on average
