What You'll Do:

As the Inside Sales Manager, you will plan, manage, lead, and execute a comprehensive business and sales plan to build sales, market share, and profit margins that are in line with business goals.

Your Accountabilities in the Role:

  • Plans, manages, and leads the ordering processes to ensure accurate, complete, and on-time deliveries that meet or exceed customer and business goals.
  • Manages, reviews and inputs customer information into the CRM to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is available to the Sales Team to create and drive new business opportunities.
  • Collaborates with the Outside Sales Team to plan, schedule and administer key priorities, communications, meetings, and other customer initiatives to maintain and grow sales revenue and profitability.
  • Leads, motivates, mentors, and develops the team to ensure optimal performance and success is achieved while growing the overall sales competencies of the team.
  • Manages product change orders, defects, etc. to ensure the changes are done in an accurate and effective way for the customer.
  • Develops and maintains complete and up-to-date files on all activity, contracts, and contacts to drive sales opportunities.

Position Requirements:

  • Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or similar field; will consider a combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: 3 + years of sales and leadership experience within a manufacturing, trailer, auto or RV industry preferred. Experience working within a Dealer management environment is also a plus.
  • Certification(s): NA
  • Functional Skills: Proven ability to research, analyze, plan and execute on business plan/sales initiatives. Excellent organization and analytical skills, with strong prioritization skills to meet timelines and goals. Strong attention to detail and processes; Solid forward-thinking to create future sales plans and solutions on current accounts, while growing new business.
  • Problem-Solving: Will use defined guidelines and policies; will define processes and procedures based on specialized knowledge.
  • Accountability: Subject to broad practices covered by functional precedents and policies, supports goals measured by upper mgmt.
  • Technology Aptitude/Skills: Strong PC and Microsoft Office skills, with the aptitude to understand and explain products to prospects and clients.
  • Language Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication with strong presentation/training skills required.
  • Leadership/Behaviors: Strong customer-focus and drive to lead, manage and engage the Inside Sales team and customers to enhance sales opportunities; self-motivated, possessing a drive to compete and succeed; energetic, with the ability to listen, network, and influence individuals and teams; collaborative personality and can build relationships and create synergies with ease; proactive to ensure processes and problems are being managed well.

Other Important Information:


Pay/Salary: Pay is commensurate with proven expertise.

And, the compensation will grow as the team member grows!


Reports To: VP of Sales

Core Hours: 7:00 am 4:00 pm

Typical Work Week: M-F; occasional Saturdays (when applicable); typically, 40-45 hours a week on average

Direct Reports: Sales Reps

Travel: Limited; Up to 10%

Work Conditions: Office environment
