What You'll Do:

As the Executive Escrow Officer, you will plan, manage, lead, and administer the escrow practices to ensure both customer goals and business goals are achieved.

Your Accountabilities in the Role:

  • Manages the escrow scheduling, processes, and resources to ensure accurate, complete, and on time delivery to meet or exceed customer and business goals.
  • Develops relationships with current and potential customers during closings, special events, and other business functions to build the company brand and market share.
  • Performs the closing processes based on complexity or overflow, to meet the customer criteria and scheduling time frames.
  • Leads, mentors, and coaches the team on the processes and systems to enhance the overall skillset and success of the group.
  • Reviews the closing processes and performs quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance, while providing feedback to the team for growth opportunities.
  • Reviews and updates processes based on new compliance or best practice findings to ensure effectiveness for the group.

Position Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred in Accounting, Business or similar field; will consider a High School Diploma or GED with related retail, accounting, or business operations experience.
  • Experience: 3+ years' experience in realty, mortgage, title, or business management, with similar years of leadership experience.
  • Functional Skills: Solid ability in planning, analysis, setting priorities, and managing detailed processes; first-rate organizational and time management skills; ability to multi-task, with excellent attention to details and follow through to ensure successful closings every time. Solid business and financial sense; can manage to tight deadlines. Good at problem-solving with solid judgement skills.
  • Certifications: No certifications needed; the Company will be providing training and certification on Title Producer License.
  • Technology Aptitude/Other: Advanced PC and Microsoft skills
  • Language Skills: Advanced communication skills to provide information, instruction, and present documents effectively. Ability to train and mentor others is required.
  • Leadership/Behaviors: Strong customer and quality focus; excellent leadership skills to mentor and guide a team at different locations; needs to be somewhat driven and assertive to get things done; good with data management and building relationships; flexible and agile within an ever-changing, fast-paced environment; strong in compliance and process enhancements. Able to deal with conflict / sensitive situations well.
  • Culture of the area: Entrepreneurial spirit, who is collaborative, has strong work ethic, assertive, and can work well independently or with others in a fast-paced environment.

Other Important Information:

Pay/Salary: Pay is commensurate with proven expertise.

Reports To: Owner

Core Hours: 8:00 am 5:30 pm

Typical Work Week: M-F; occasional Saturday (infrequent); 40-45 hours a week on average

Direct Reports: Escrow Officers

Travel: Local travel to other facility, events
