What You'll Do:

As the Line Operator, you will handle various stages of the assembly process, utilizing job-specific skills and tools to ensure the product meets quality, delivery, and output goals for full customer satisfaction.

Your Accountabilities in the Role:

  • You will install internal passenger area features including cabinets, benches, seatbelts, runners, flooring, internal lights, and external wheel rings and hubs ensuring accuracy and fit.
  • You will assemble the Advanced Life Saving Station to regulatory and customer specifications.
  • You will install cabinet trim, screw all shelving down, and hang external doors ensuring exact fit for each component.
  • You will clean the interior and exterior of each vehicle and apply regulatory stickers as required for local, state, and federal requirements.

Position Requirements:

  • Education: A HS Diploma or GED preferred; will consider an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • Experience: 0-1 years of experience in manufacturing, construction, automotive, or similar industry preferred; will train the right person.
  • Certifications: N/A
  • Functional Skills: Solid ability to learn to read a tape measurer and use basic hand tools; strong attention to detail with the ability to learn to read, understand, and apply processes, specifications, and blueprints; basic math and counting skills; able to self-inspect work and implement corrections where needed; basic mechanical skills.
  • Technology Skills: N/A
  • Language Skills: Basic reading, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Leadership/Behaviors: Strong work ethic and values; dependable and self-motivated; solid focus on the customer and processes; able to work independently and within a team environment; able to multi-task and flexible to move to priorities throughout production areas; safety-minded.
  • Culture Match Behaviors: Respectful of team members and policies, goal and customer-focused; has the ability to stay focused on quality, as well as producing and enhancing efficiencies within the team. Requires an excellent work ethic to lead by example.

Other Important Information:

Pay: Hourly base rate plus additional hourly bonus based on performance and attendance incentives

Reports To: Team Lead

Core Hours: 5:00 am 1:30 pm

Typical Work Week: Monday Friday; some weekend work; 40-45 hours a week on average
