What You'll Do:

As the Senior Human Resource Manager, you will research, plan, manage and administer the HR practices, policies, and programs to ensure direct alignment to integrated business and team member goals for mutual success.

Your Accountabilities In The Role:

  • Researches, recommends and executes on new or enhanced Human Resource practices, policies or programs, ensuring effective implementation and smooth communication to all team members.
  • Manages, coordinates, and administers Human Resource and Payroll policies and practices, focused on the goals of the organization along with the needs of the team members for a balanced approach.
  • Manages and executes on effective recruiting and onboarding strategies to hire and retain top talent by building a candidate pipeline, enhancing the Company brand, and networking with other HR professionals in the area.
  • Manages the performance management programs that will measure team member success towards business goals and align development towards increased mutual success.
  • Manages the compensation and benefit programs, with the Executive team, ensuring competitive programs that align to organizational goals and budget, while enhancing the ability to recruit and retain talent.
  • Acts as a "Credible Activist" to build relationships of trust and integrity within the team to ensure engaging, fair and compliant employee relations practices.
  • Creates, updates, and reviews policies, practices, and documents to ensure continual compliance as processes and regulations change.

Position Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Organizational Leadership, or HR preferred; will consider an equivalent comination of education and relacant work experince.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or Manager role, handling all elements of HR as well as processing payroll.
  • Certifications: SHRM-CP or PHR preferred - or willing to obtain
  • Functional Skills: Excellent skills in researching, creating, and executing activities and programs; ability to find the facts and create solutions; solid math skills; goal-focused; great with priorities, organizing, time management, multi-tasking, and follow through; strong process focus with ability to analyze data and create enhancements to make decisions. Excellent ability to listen and provide logical, credible guidance calmly.
  • Technology Skills: Solid ability with technology and systems; proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal skills; able to present to individuals and groups; able to provide HR training and consult with others directly and at remote locations regarding human resources policies/discipline areas.
  • Leadership/Behaviors: Self-driven; compassionate; proactive approach to tasks and processes; able to relate to people at all levels and show empathy; reliable team member, high level of personal and professional integrity, compliance-oriented, assertive, innovative mindset; able to consistently produce high-quality work and deliver exceptional service; can manage conflict situations well; discrete with confidential information.

Other Important Information:

Position Status & Salary: Salaried Position. Salary is commensurate with proven expertise and behavior skills that fit the position.

And, the compensation will grow as the team member grows!

Reports To: CEO

Core Hours: Monday Friday typically; some weekend work; 8:00 5:00 pm typically; with a 45-50 hour work week on average

Travel: Minimal travel to other locations; will consult team members remotely primarily

Work Conditions: Office work primarily with some time spent in Operations
