What You'll Do:


You will partner with the Production and Engineering departments to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair our printed circuit boards to ensure a high level of quality and output for our customers.

Who You Are:

  • You will repair printed circuit boards through diagnosis, troubleshooting and correcting issues, which will include validating new products as well as diagnosing used product
  • You assist in building test fixtures and devices for our remote-control products to ensure they are functioning properly
  • You will partner with Engineers to build first level prototypes on new products
  • You will engage and work in a team-environment to assist with SMT & other machine programming/trouble-shooting, with training provided on these machines
  • And you will help with other duties as assigned, to qualify, diagnose and facilitate final inspection of product, as needed

Requirements:

  • Education: Certified education in Electronic Technology, Production or Circuit Board Repair and/or the equivalent in course work and experience preferred
  • Experience: Minimum 0-1 year of experience with diagnosis and fixing printed circuit boards preferred; will train someone with a Electronic Technology education
  • Functional Skills: Fundamental knowledge of schematics and manual diagnosis and repair of power electronics. Strong attention to detail; excellent ability to problem-solve and create solutions in a timely manner. Ability to move to various projects as needed.
  • Communication Skills: Solid verbal and written communication skills to work with others both inside and outside of the organization.
  • Leadership/Behaviors: Self-Starter with proven ability to manage projects independently.

Other Important Information:

Reports To: Director of Operations

Core Hours: 7:00 am 4:00 pm (can be flexible in the hours worked)

Direct Reports: None

Work Conditions: Must have abiltiy to stand all day, bend, reach, kneel, squat, twist, and lift up to 30 lbs sporadically to move product. Must be able to see color.

Typical Work Week: Monday Friday
