What You'll Do:

As an Electronic Engineering Associate, you will research, plan, manage and execute on projects to design, diagnose, and repair circuit boards, fixtures, and other electronic devices to support the manufacturing and engineering departments and ensuring a high-level of quality and output for our customers.

Who You Are:

  • Trouble-shoots, diagnoses, and repairs circuit boards, test fixtures, and other devices to correct obstacles for a high-quality product.
  • Researches, plans, and builds test fixtures and devices for our remote-control products, validating that they are functioning appropriately.
  • Partners with the Engineering team to build first level prototypes on new products, ensuring alignment to specifications and functionality.
  • Supports the Engineering team in designing and writing software to meet customer specifications.


  • Education: Associates degree in Electronic Engineering Technology or similar certifications; will consider a combination of course work and/or experience.
  • Experience: 0-1 years of applied electronic course work or related experience in an electronic position. Will train the right person with related coursework.
  • Functional Skills: Fundamental knowledge of schematics and the design, diagnosis and repair of circuit boards. Strong attention to detail; excellent ability to research, problem-solve and create solutions in a timely manner. Ability to move to various projects as needed.
  • Technology Aptitude/Skills: Strong Microsoft Office Skillset; solid in other programs for electrical/electronic production.
  • Language Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills; along with good presentation skills.
  • Leadership/Behaviors: Strong customer-focus, initiative, collaboration, and influencing skills to effectively assist in the implementation of new products. High compliance to do things accurately and quality orientation is also important. Good listener, with a calm demeanor, who can be flexible, listen, and invoke great ideas to make the best decisions.
  • Culture Match Behaviors: Respectful of team members and policies, goal and customer-focused; has the ability to stay focused on quality, as well as being efficient to produce a high level of output on the job. Requires an excellent work ethic with the ability to learn and problem-solve.

Other Important Information:

Reports To: Head of Engineering; Dotted line to Operations Manager

Core Hours: 8:00 am 4:30 pm (Hours are flexible, 40-45 hours per week)

Direct Reports: Technician

Work Conditions: Must have abiltiy to sit, stand, bend, reach, squat, twist, work with hands and fingers, and lift up to 30 lbs sporadically to move product. Must be able to see color.

Typical Work Week: Monday Friday
