What You'll Do:

As Cabinet Design and Sales, you will create high-quality cabinet designs to client specifications, meet with clients to review designs, pursue additional client leads, and work to close leads to ensure business sales goals are achieved.


Your Accountabilities in the Role:

  • Handles incoming calls and walk-in clients to ensure all client questions are answered and clients receive top customer service.
  • Creates high-quality cabinet designs based on the client's requirements, tastes, and specifications ensuring the project remains within the desired budget.
  • Coordinates with the Sales Team to follow-up on leads and open quotes to increase client sign-offs and maximize the percentage of closed leads.
  • Handles client change requests smoothly, professionally, and quickly to ensure issues are identified, addressed, and followed-up on in a timely manner.

Position Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree in Interior Design or Architecture a plus; will consider equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • Experience: 3+ years of previous experience in cabinet design, architecture, or similar role preferred.
  • Certification(s): N/A
  • Functional Skills: Excellent ability to read a blueprint and measurement down to the 1/32nd of the inch; strong detail-oriented skills with ability to be precise and thorough in work; excellent listening skills; capable of presenting information clearly and closing a sale; able to balance design and sales time requirements.
  • Technology Aptitude/Skills: Excellent Microsoft Office skills with design software experience in 2020, AutoCAD, or similar platform required.
  • Language Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Leadership/Behaviors: Trustworthy, personable, and authentic; excellent ability to maintain a high-level of focus and quiet demeanor when designing; able to quickly transition and smoothly converse with walk-in clients and other leads. Able to adapt to the client's personality and create a comfortable environment; excellent ability to persuade with strong ability to collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members.

Other Important Information:

Salary: Salary is commensurate with proven expertise.

And, the compensation will grow as the team member grows!

Reports To: Sales Manager

Core Hours: 9A-5:30P M-F and some Saturdays 10A-2P

Typical Work Week: M-F and some Saturdays; 45-50 hours a week on average

Direct Reports: None

Travel: 20% to job sites, client homes, and training
