What You'll Do:

As a Sales Representative, you will research, plan, prioritize and execute on sales initiatives to meet the sales and profit goals of the business.


Your Accountabilities In The Role:

  1. Develops, plans, and executes sales initiatives and strategies assuring they are aligned to the organizational revenue and profitability goals.
  2. Pursues new customer accounts and follows-up on leads to maintain a steady sales funnel and continuously drive sales.
  3. Develops and maintains ongoing relationships with customers providing consistent, proactive communication to build trust and ensure long-term relationships.
  4. Collaborates with the estimating department, CEO/VP of Sales, President and the customer to coordinate all sales quotes and consistently follow up on quotes to close sales.
  5. Plans, organizes, and executes a calendar of events for sales and marketing initiatives, trade shows, and sales meetings to brand the organization as a leader in the industry.
  6. Collaborates with other Sales Reps to build on new ideas, technical aspects, and other items to enhance mutual growth and success.
  7. Communicates and collaborates with senior leadership on the market trends and competitive landscape, providing a detailed analysis for business planning processes.
  8. Monitors, tracks, and provides weekly updates to CEO/VP of Sales regarding the status of sales, customer accounts, potential issues, and other pertinent information to ensure proactive communication and actions are taken for business success.
  9. Maintains files, customer contact information, and other data in an organized way to enhance the department.

Position Requirements:

  1. Education: A High School Diploma or GED, will consider a combination of education and experience.
  2. Experience: 3+ years of progressive Sales experience in the printing industry; will consider someone in the printing industry who has a selling personality.
  3. Certifications: NA
  4. Functional Skills: Self-motivated, forward thinker with the ability to research, develop, plan, and execute sales and marketing initiatives; excellent prioritization and organizational skills with a strong business and financial skillset. Ability to analyze and forecast based on the market and trends. High attention to details and follow-through to close Sales.
  5. Technology Skills: Strong Microsoft Office and CRM skills.
  6. Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent presentation skills is needed.
  7. Leadership/Behaviors: Excellent relational and networking skills with ability to influence others; driven, assertive, competitive, collaborative, intuitive, and goal-oriented, trustworthy, and dependable. Ability to work as a team or independently. Clear communicator with ability to adapt and navigate various environments and situations.
  8. Culture Match: High level of energy, confident in abilities yet humble to get help as needed; dependable and flexible to support the team and our customers.

Other Important Information:

Position Status & Salary: Exceptional hourly pay plus commission with discretionary bonuses paid quarterly!

  • And, the compensation will grow as the team member grows!

Reports To: CEO/VP of Sales

Core Hours: Monday - Friday

Typical Work Week: 8:00 - 5:00 pm (open); typically, 40 hrs. per week

Travel: 3 - 4 days a week; with cold calling; rare to travel overnight

Work Conditions: Working from home or at customers; occasional visits to the office as needed.
